She told me that my mom had a heart attack yesterday and didn't want to tell us. She lives in California and it's already hard enough to not see her, but to not hear about what going on is even harder. We only found out because my moms ex-girlfriend called my sister from the hospital to tell her. And supposedly when it happened my mom had some small seizure or something, then had the heart attack. Luckily someone was their to call an ambulance. The doctor did an angiogram /sp?/ and she doesn't have any blockage, so I guess that's good, and they took her off some medication that 'probably' caused the attack. gah! I'm so frustrated with prescriptions, they really only cause more problems, more side-effects that bring on more medications, which brings more problems. It's a horrible vicious circle.
